"Dongji Rescue" director Guan Hu and "The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru" director Fang Li wore T-shirts with the same secret on the back – the exact co-ordinates of the sunken Lisbon Maru.

Their films uncover the untold story of Chinese fishermen risking everything during World War II to rescue British prisoners from Japanese pursuers. On August 15, "Dongji Rescue" premiered and "The Sinking of the Lisbon Maru" was re-released in the UK – history comes alive.
