The second full rehearsal for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War took place at Tiananmen Square in Beijing from 5:30 p.m. on August 16 to 3:30 a.m. on August 17.

Around 40,000 people participated, and the rehearsal achieved its expected objectives.
