This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people's victory in the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, as well as the 120th anniversary of the birth of Chinese cinema. Commemorating both these events, the 1947 classic epic film "Spring River Flows East," restored in 4K by Shanghai Film Dubbing Studio, was re-released to audiences this summer. CGTN's Melody Zhang interviewed actors Qiao Zhen and Zhang Zhihua, as well as director Liu Feng, who shared their thoughts.
