Shan Busheng has dedicated years collecting artifacts from the Huangpu (Whampoa) Military Academy, including a rare graduation certificate from the Wartime Cadre Training Regiment. Founded in Wuhan at the outbreak of the war, the regiment responded to a nation's urgent call – whether north or south, young or old – to defend their homeland. Through these relics, we hear history's voice: it was this spirit of collective sacrifice that led China to its ultimate victory.
