Jiang Yiting, Che Yufei, and Gao Jinmei of China won the women's skeet team title at the Asian Shooting Championships in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, on Wednesday.
The trio scored a total of 342 points in the final, ahead of the host nation's runners-up Adel Sadakbayeva, Anastassiya Molchanova, and Olga Khailova. Indian shooters Maheshwari Chauhan, Ganemat Sekhon, and Raiza Dhillon rounded out the podium in third place.
In the individual competition, Jiang and Che reached the final after finishing on top of the preliminary round standings. Following the first 50 shots in the deciding stage, Che led Jiang by one, but the 26-year-old then missed two shots in her final 10 attempts, while Jiang hit all 10 of her targets to grab the gold. Che settled for silver, while Molchanova bagged bronze.
In the mixed 10-meter air pistol team final, China's Ma Qianke and Zhang Yifan battled back from a 12-8 deficit and scored six points in a row en route to beating South Korea's Yoo Hyun-young and Lee Won-ho 16-12 to take the title.
