One of the lesser-known stories of solidarity during the Japanese invasion of China involves a group of Australian dock workers.

In 1938, the workers refused to load iron onto a Japanese ship, fearing it would become weapons used against Chinese civilians.

More than eight decades later, their families want to make sure the workers' incredible act of bravery and personal sacrifice is not forgotten.
