The 2nd Golden Panda Awards attracts 5,343 entries and to present 27 awards in Chengdu

The 2nd Golden Panda Awards will be held in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, from September 12 to 13, with 27 awards set to be presented across four categories. The details were revealed at a press conference on Friday at the Beijing International Convention Center.

At the event, the organizing committee unveiled this year's jury lineup, which is composed of 27 senior professionals, experts and scholars from the film and television industries, from both China and abroad.

Awards will be presented in four categories: film, TV series, documentary and animation. These include honors such as best picture, best director and best screenwriter.

According to the committee, this year's awards have attracted 5,343 entries from 126 countries and regions, including 3,910 submissions from overseas.
