As the United Nations celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025, CGTN is collaborating with global content creators to launch the "One Home: Shared Future" visual storytelling campaign – encouraging young people worldwide to share their hopes for humanity's future.
In this episode, Kim Jeong-won, a vlogger from South Korea, shares her story with the UN. She began donating regularly to UNICEF after watching the UN's fundraising videos. Kim said this experience helps her broaden her perspective on the world. Previously, she viewed wars, famines, and refugee crises in the news as nothing more than distant stories. Now, she pays closer attention to the living conditions of people in those areas. This change has helped her grow internally and fostered a greater interest in and sense of responsibility for the world.
