In 2014, Uzbek youth Said Bobur came to Qingdao, China, full of aspirations for furthering his education. A decade later, fluent in six languages, including Chinese, Russian, and English, he became an essential link between China and Central Asia. At the Comprehensive Service Platform for China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation, Bobur works as an interpreter, connecting enterprises with trading opportunities. Speaking about his work, Bobur says he feels deeply proud and honored to contribute to economic and trade cooperation among SCO member states.
