On September 3, China Media Group (CMG) will broadcast the grand gathering marking the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as the military parade, to global audiences in 85 languages.

To enhance international coverage of the commemorative events, CMG has recently added three new broadcasting languages – Irish, Pidgin and Kinyarwanda. With this expansion, China Global Television Network (CGTN), under CMG, remains the international mainstream media outlet with the widest linguistic reach, operating in 85 languages worldwide.

At present, CGTN has more than 700 million television users and 600 million new media followers globally, and has established cooperative partnerships with over 4,700 mainstream media outlets worldwide. These efforts aim to better present China's image and provide deeper insights into the country's perspectives.
