Tens of thousands of Israelis gathered on Saturday in Tel Aviv and across the country to call for an end to the Gaza war. The demonstrations followed Benjamin Netanyahu's announcement on Thursday that he would authorize the seizure of Gaza City while restarting negotiations for the release of all hostages. "The country is not behind them," said one protester, referring to the Israeli government. "Eighty percent of this country wants the war to end now."
