Poverty eradication is a core agenda and critical mission within the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Recently, a seminar on the topic with Belt and Road participating countries was held in Beijing. The event was co-organized by China's Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Participants unanimously acknowledged that China has made substantial contributions to the global poverty alleviation, and provided valuable references for developing countries.
