Abdi Geremew is a software engineer from Ethiopia. In July 2024, he co-founded EarlyVet, an innovative solution that uses AI-powered wearable sensors and cloud technology to monitor livestock health and location in real time. EarlyVet improves animal well-being, reduces economic losses, and supports sustainable livelihoods by helping farmers detect illnesses early. The system is currently being tested by livestock owners and veterinarians and is preparing for market launch.
