Philosophers around the world have long discussed the concept of the harmony between humans and nature. A new exhibition at the Tsinghua University Art Museum explores the tight yet intricate relationship between nature, technology and human beings. Seven artists from different cultures – including Lynn Hershman Leeson, Liang Shaoji and Melati Suryodarmo – are showcasing 18 works, featuring mediums such as installations, videos, AI, and more. These works present the duality of nature in contemporary art – material yet conceptual.
