China is moving full speed ahead in upgrading its port infrastructure to foster mutual benefits between East and West. CGTN's Wang Mengjie visits Tianjin Port to explore how it facilitates connectivity among Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries, linking land and sea.
Maintaining trade relations with more than 500 ports in about 180 countries and regions, Tianjin Port has optimized logistic channels among SCO countries, opened inter-model trains from Xinjiang's Khorgos to Central Asia, and developed a source of goods for return trips on the Central Asia freight train.
