August 26th marks the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, China's first "testing ground" for reform and opening-up. Over the past four and a half decades, Shenzhen has grown from a small fishing village into a global innovation hub. We visited the city to explore why Shenzhen has become such a fertile ground for innovation.
