Through a combination of stage performances and virtual reconstructions of historic scenes, it transports the audience back to wartime with such classic songs as "March of the Volunteers," "Along the Songhua River," and "March of the Broadswords."
The songs in each episode connect historical events with touching personal stories, showcasing the great spirit demonstrated in the war against Japanese aggression.
