In Kyrgyzstan, Salamat Alamanov, a national geographer who has dedicated his life to studying hydrology, admits that the country still has an inadequate supply of safe drinking water. In collaboration with Chinese research institutions, he has helped to install11 water purification systems in seven regions, providing 20,000 residents with access to clean drinking water. Two years ago, Uzbek taxi driver Ulugbek Abdukadirov purchased a Chinese-brand electric vehicle.
