The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council of China said that the V-Day parade will include Taiwan compatriots, as this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, as well as the 80th anniversary of Taiwan's liberation from Japanese occupation.
