The 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum will be held in the Chinese capital from September 17 to 19, a defense spokesperson said on Thursday.

Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, said in a press release that this year's forum will focus on the theme of "Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development." 

The Beijing Xiangshan Forum is committed to building a platform for constructive dialogue grounded in equality, inclusiveness and diversity. By enabling all parties involved to build consensus and foster mutual trust, the forum aims to pool collective wisdom in order to address global security and development challenges.
