China held its second press conference on Friday to provide updates on preparations for the upcoming victory anniversary events in Beijing, focusing on China's commitment to peaceful development and efforts to promote a community with a shared future for mankind.

The press conference is held by the press center of the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu said the concept has offered new ideas for international relations, fresh wisdom for global governance, a new framework for international engagement, and a vision for a better world. He noted that it transcends bloc politics, power-based dominance, and the so-called "universal values" promoted by a few Western countries, instead highlighting the broadest consensus for building a better future together.

According to Ma, through joint efforts between China and the international community, the vision has grown from a Chinese proposal into an international consensus, from an aspirational goal into concrete practice, and from a concept into a systematic framework. It has expanded from bilateral to multilateral, regional to global, development to security, and cooperation to governance, yielding comprehensive and pioneering results.
