Belarus officially became a member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2024. Ahead of this year's SCO Tianjin Summit, CGTN's Wang Mengjie sat down with Aleksandr Chervyakov, the Belarusian ambassador to China, to discuss his expectations.
When asked to comment on Belarus's achievements since joining, Chervyakov said cooperation and membership in the SCO is "a priority" for the development and future sustainable growth of Belarus's economy and country.
