The UN has conferred a new title on Cong Guang, Deputy Head of Mission of United Nations Mission in South Sudan, or UNMISS. As he prepares to leave South Sudan for his new assignment as the Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, he reflects on UNMISS's mandate, the challenges it faces, and the partnerships built to support the country's peace process. Cong Guang also expressed his determination to make new contributions to peace and development in the Horn of Africa.
