During the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, many international friends traveled great distances to stand alongside the Chinese people. On Saturday, some of their family members gathered in Beijing for an international communication symposium.

They told CGTN that commemorating this history is vital, both to carry forward the great spirit of the War of Resistance and to share China's story, in connection with the world, in the new era.
