China's cumulative trade with other Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries has reached $2.3 trillion ahead of the scheduled target, President Xi Jinping said on Monday while addressing the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO held in Tianjin.
Xi said China and SCO countries were the first to launch the Belt and Road Initiative cooperation, and some signature projects and "small and beautiful" livelihood projects have been implemented, providing robust driving forces for development and prosperity across the region.
Speaking of the multi-dimensional connectivity network, Xi said nearly 14,000 kilometers of international land transport routes are in operation among member states and the China-Europe Railway Express has operated over 110,000 train services.
