The information warfare and unmanned combat groups were inspected during the V-Day parade at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing on Wednesday, in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

The parade featured cyberspace warfare equipment designed to strengthen cyber defense and support all-domain operations. The information support formation included vehicles of cloud computing, digital intelligence, air-ground networks and integrated information systems, capable of rapidly building new types of cyber systems to assist joint operations.

Electronic countermeasure equipment was also highlighted, with five types on display. The equipment included are capable of aerial and space defense and countermeasures, and disconnecting enemy networks and breaking digital chains.

The unmanned combat group consists of three formations.

The unmanned land-based formation showcased vehicles capable of reconnaissance, assault, mine and bomb defusing and removal, and squad assistance. They can be operated remotely, and are able to move independently, work flexible in groups and make intelligent maneuvers.

In addition, the maritime warfare equipment was presented, including China's new-type unmanned underwater vehicle, boat and mine-laying system.

For the unmanned aerial combat, reconnaissance-and-strike drones, wingman drones and unmanned ship-based helicopters also appeared in the parade.
