The land, maritime and air combat groups of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) were inspected during the V-Day parade in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing on Wednesday.

A series of China's air defense weapons, including the HQ-20, HQ-19 and HQ-29, were inspected during the parade. These systems are capable of multi-phase and multi-layered missile interception, as well as air defense at long, medium and short ranges.

China also showcased its anti-unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) systems. The formation included an anti-UAV missile-gun integrated system, high-energy laser weapons and high-power microwave weapons.

The three types of weapons form a powerful "trio" in the PLA's anti-UAV system.
