Liulaozhuang, a village in Huai'an in east China's Jiangsu Province, witnessed a fierce battle during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. A small unit of Chinese soldiers stood firm in the face of overwhelming odds, with 82 dying in battle.
