07:37

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim attended this year's SCO summit in Tianjin, and Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Tengku Zafrul Aziz accompanied the delegation. Earlier, CGTN interviewed Minister Zafrul about what he learned in Tianjin, and the new era of economic cooperation between China and Malaysia. Zafrul said he hopes for increased cooperation with China in the fields of semiconductors, autos and the green transition, as the Version 3.0 China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) is due to be signed in October.
