Zeng Zhuojun, better known to the fighting‑game faithful as "Xiaohai", successfully defended his crown at the 2025 Esports World Cup in Riyadh, eking out a 5–4 triumph over Chilean teenager Derek Blaz in a Street Fighter 6 final that felt like a mini‑novel. Down 3–0 early, the 36‑year‑old staged a furious comeback, turning what looked like a rout into a razor‑thin victory.

Speaking to Sports Scene's Shen Xiang in the aftermath, Zeng recounted the comeback for the ages, insisted age ought not be treated as a disqualifier in esports and said he still has big ambitions, chief among them representing China at the 2026 Asian Games.
