Sindberg in Nanjing: A history to remember

09:53

It commemorates Bernhard Arp Sindberg, an ordinary young Dane who, together with his colleagues, sheltered around 20,000 Chinese civilians during the Nanjing Massacre in 1937 and used his camera and letters to reveal the atrocities to the world.

After leaving Nanjing, he never married and seldom spoke of this chapter of his life. How can his story and spirit continue to be carried forward? Let's search for answers in both China and Denmark.
