US residents spoke highly of China's commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression on Wednesday, stressing the need to recognize China's role in the World Anti-Fascist War. Several noted that China's contribution to the war is often not well-understood in their country.
