14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference to open in Beijing

The 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference will take place on September 11 and 12 in Beijing, said the National Intellectual Property Administration on Friday.

Under the theme of "IP in the Digital Age," the conference will focus on digital IP innovations with the aim of cultivating strategic emerging industries. Experts and scholars from home and abroad will exchange views on hot topics such as artificial intelligence, biomedicine, integrated circuits, the private economy and foreign-related IP protection, officials of the administration said at a press conference in Beijing.

The annual conference has become a flagship event for national IP protection and a key initiative under the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), said Liu Chao, chairman of the Intellectual Property Publishing House.
