Descendants of U.S. General Joseph Stilwell recently traveled from Chongqing to Yunnan to retrace the Stilwell Road and visit Stilwell-related historical sites along it. In front of General Stilwell's statue at the Songshan Battlefield Site, the general's great-grandson Dennis Cox, moved and respectful, sensed the Chinese people's respect for Stilwell, with the journey creating a lasting emotional connection.
