Since 2005, over the course of two decades of travel and research, Professor Jin Xiaoming and his team have assembled more than 12,000 Chinese paintings spanning 4,000 years, sourced from both within China and abroad. Their efforts culminated in A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings—a monumental 60-volume series. CGTN host Mike Walter visited the collection hall to embark on a millennia-spanning journey through the living history of Chinese painting.
