John Pang, senior fellow of the Belt and Road Initiative Caucus for Asia Pacific, adds that through dialogue-driven approach, BRICS achieves concrete governance results, defying Western media narratives of inaction.

The remarks align with China's position, voiced at the recent BRICS Leaders' Virtual Summit, that the BRICS countries, standing at the forefront of the Global South, should actively promote greater democracy in international relations and increase the representation and voice of Global South countries.
