The 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services, the largest comprehensive exhibition on trade in services in the world, will kick off on Wednesday, offering a platform for global cooperation on services trade. Trade in services is becoming a growth engine driving global trade, to which China's services trade development is a significant boon. As a major global player for trade in services, China has been stepping up its efforts to boost surging growth in services trade in a bid to stimulate domestic consumption and promote global economic exchanges. The country's services trade volume broke through $1 trillion for the first time in 2024 thanks to burgeoning tourism and robust growth in knowledge-intensive services.
