China recently marked the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. As part of the commemorations, descendants of U.S. General Joseph Stilwell, who commanded the U.S. Tenth Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II, visited China. Retracing the historic "Stilwell Road" in southwest China, they honored the friendship forged between the Chinese and American people during World War II.
