Israel launched a strike on a residential area in the Qatari capital, Doha, targeting Hamas' leadership on Tuesday. Hamas said five of its members were killed in the attack, but Israel failed to assassinate its negotiating team – they were meeting to discuss the latest U.S. proposal for a ceasefire in Gaza.
