Israel launched a strike on a residential area in the Qatari capital, Doha, targeting Hamas' leadership on Tuesday. Hamas stated in a late Tuesday evening statement that the attack occurred while its delegation was discussing a new ceasefire proposal presented by U.S. President Donald Trump.
