Israel launched an unprecedented airstrike in Doha in its attempt to assassinate Hamas officials based in the Qatari capital.

Hamas said that at the time of the strike, its delegation was reviewing a peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. The negotiating team survived, but six others were killed, the group added.
