On September 1, 2025, the Chinese Embassy in Sweden held a film screening to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. More than 300 participants, including representatives from various sectors of Swedish society, Chinese residents in Sweden, representatives of Chinese enterprises and Chinese exchange students in Sweden, jointly watched the Chinese film "Dead To Rights" (which focuses on the 1937 Nanjing Massacre). The purpose of the event was to commemorate this grave historical period of war, honor the victims, preserve the memory of victory and enhance understanding and solidarity among participants.
