International legislators gather in China for friendship exchange

At the welcome reception for the International Legislators Friendship Forum in Beijing, over 60 parliamentary representatives from different countries and regions gathered at the compound of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Reporter Liu Mohan interviewed Joseph Isaac, Speaker of the House of Assembly of the Commonwealth of Dominica, and Shameemah Salie, a councillor in the city of Cape Town, South Africa.
Both expressed their admiration for China's urban development and the eagerness to gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese people. They also said they hoped to strengthen mutual cultural exchanges and amicable cooperation further.
