The remains of 30 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs who lost their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea will be repatriated to China from the Republic of Korea (ROK) on Friday, according to China's Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
This will be the 12th such repatriation since the two countries signed an agreement on the handover of remains.
From 2014 to 2024, China and the ROK – acting in accordance with international laws and humanitarian principles – successfully carried out 11 handovers, returning the remains of 981 CPV martyrs along with personal artifacts in the ROK. Join CGTN live for more details.
