Every year for the past decade, the remains of Chinese People's Volunteers who lost their lives in the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea have been repatriated from the Korean Peninsula. Ninety-seven-year-old Liu Jiqing – a veteran of the war who was among the first to cross the Yalu River in operations against U.S.-led forces – fondly remembers his fallen comrades.
