In an interaction with CGTN, filmmaker Pieter-Rim de Kroon, jury of the documentary category of the Second Golden Panda Awards, emphasized the importance of Chinese-Western cooperation in filmmaking.
He pointed out that China's film and television industry is growing and improving, and its feature films are popular. De Kroon said openness to cooperation is necessary in today's world, and combining Western and Chinese knowledge and experiences can create better film productions.
