Russia's Defense Ministry said Friday it had shot down 221 Ukrainian drones across more than a dozen regions, including near Moscow and St. Petersburg.
One woman was killed and a man injured in Belgorod, while flights at St. Petersburg's airport were suspended.
The attack marked one of the largest drone barrages reported since the start of the conflict.
