China and the UK have held their first top-level trade talks in seven years, co-chaired by Commerce Minister Wang Wentao and UK Business Secretary Peter Kyle in Beijing. The two sides signed MoUs on WTO cooperation and trade remedies and pledged deeper collaboration in green energy, pharmaceuticals, advanced manufacturing and finance – aiming to unlock new business opportunities and strengthen one of the world's most dynamic trade relationships.
