"Peace is never permanent; it must be safeguarded by each generation and by all of us, in our great diversity as one humanity," said George Papandreou, former prime minister of Greece. He made the remarks while delivering a speech at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Golden Panda International Cultural Forum, which kicked off on Saturday in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The forum, themed "Harmony in Diversity, A Future in Unity," brings together top voices from China and abroad for a cultural exchange of ideas.
