China successfully sent a test satellite for satellite internet technology into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on Tuesday.
The satellite was carried by a Long March-2C rocket with a Yuanzheng-1S (Expedition-1S) upper stage, lifting off at 09:06 a.m. (Beijing Time).
The mission marks the 595th flight of the Long March carrier rocket series.
